Rockin with the Elders!!

Here we are all ready to party!!
But, first we must check out the Desserts!!

The desserts were beautiful to look at...
and it was very difficult to choose
which one to have!!

Anyone ready for Apple and Caramel?
Yummy!!

Oreo Cheesecake!
Mom was all decked out and
ready to rock and roll!!
Lot's of dancing in wheelchairs
at this party. All the Nurses and Nurses
Aids are out there boogieing with the Elders!!
How about some line dancing?
There was a great dinner before
the band started...and everyone
was ready to enjoy!!

This is Betty dancing with
every ones favorite Nurse Ed!
Don't they make a great couple?

What a Great Group of People that
are here at Mercy Manor!!
This was the 25th year for this very
special Dinner Dance!!
We had a wonderful time with my Mom
and all the other Elders...it was so cool to
see how much they enjoyed themselves.
The staff here is awesome, they have been
great to me and my Mom.
If nothing changes with her, she will be
back here with us in about a week. That
is good, but...she really can not be left alone.
We will just take things a day at a time.
Love, Gig

Hi Gig,
It looks like a good time was had by all. Hope your mother gets to come home soon.
Is the place she is in a hospital or a respite place?

Awwww that was so sweet. Mom looks tired, but you look beautiful. And I love those smiling blue eyes of Mr. Ed's.

Hi baby! Okay, I'm laughing, so you know I'm just getting started!

1) Giggie, you're so beautiful. You're eyes are simply amazing. Cece's looking and Ed's and I'm looking at yours. Hummmmmmmm.

2) God I love this post. I'm not kidding. It's amazing. And one thing I noticed is you don't look as tired, haggard and exhausted as you profess to be. *Giggie smacks Suze up side the head with iron skillet. "Ouch, how rude."*

3) I want Nurse Ed too. Can he come work at The Wild Onion Miss Cece? Please. Pretty please. He looked so good I enlarged the photo. Yup, he'll do just fine.

4) Just an observation, but it looks like Jo kept missing her comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jo, listen sweetie, you have to focus. F. O. C. U. S. Focus. Woman, you're killin' me!!!!!!!!!

5) Okay. The desserts. Delicious. There's coffee too, right? I'll have a cheese cake and a coffe Miss Giggie. No, not a slice, I'll take the whole cheese cake.

6) Baby, did I miss your birthday and Mother's Day? Holy crap! I'm that bad? Really? That deserves some serious punishment. "Oh God, here comes Severus with Leah's whip...gotta run girl."

Love you! Great post and amazing photos. Enjoyed it from beginning to end.

XO

P.S. Hang in there and hope Mom is thriving and Mr. Big is healing. Love to all.

P.P.S. Oh that's right, I did try to call you on Mother's Day. You didn't answer the phone. See, I am a good friend, I just forgot!
