They played very well again tonight. It seemed like at times during the series that Pittsburgh had no answer to anything Detroit was doing.

I do think Osgood deserved the MVP award over Zetterberg. Congrats to the Red Wings!

Damn that Kylie!!! I swear to God that woman has made me laugh all day. She's everywhere I go (and that's all she says!). Gig, it's so funny because when I was on Inner Voices blog Kylie didn't say hi and I mention it. So she's been everywhere saying "Hi!" I was on my way to feed the ferals this morning and I swear, I started laughing and couldn't stop when I thought about what she's doing. People on the freeway must have thought "Who's that wacky broad!?" Too funny. Do we have great friends, or what!?! I called her a "slacker" because she missed Cece's blog! ;) Give her hell honey.

Well...Rob told you so way back in May. See. He doesn't mess around when it comes to hockey. Oh, or football. Or basketball. Or baseball. Or tennis. Or.......whatever! Is there more?! Good Lord. Congrats! You and Detroit deserve the big win. And I agree with both you and Bob regarding MVP.

Honey, you're in W. Virginia? After what our ignorant VP said the other day I didn't think anyone would go to W. Virginia fearing they might find a relative. You are one brave #$%^#$ %^$%^&!!!

Love you honey. Stop by the Wild Onion when you get home and buy me a drink. I know I should buy you one, but I stated earlier if Detroit won, you would buy. But it's fake money, so don't worry about it. See you on the dance floor baby. And welcome home soon!

XO

P.S. Hi Bob!

Hi suzanne (waves wildly at suzanne across the internets)!!! I'm tempted to start bombing the blogosphere with hellos, but someone's already taken care of that.

Hey Gig,
Recently met a Detroit transplant to Fort Worth and...of course a lover of hockey & the Red Wings! We watched last Monday...what a nail biter! Triple over time and the Penguins took it...hey, it's not over yet!
Hockey fans are so loyal...I'm loving it,

G'day,
I am so pleased that your team won and that you got to see the last five minutes of the game.

It is 9:20 Friday night in Melbourne town, quarter time of the AFL Game, Geelong vs North Melbourne. 1/4 Time score:
Nth Melb:
3 goals, two behinds - 20 points
Geelong: 7 goals, 0 behinds - 42 points.

My team, The Bombers plays Hawthorn,The Hawks on Saturday night. Essendon has got two chances of winning - Buckley's and none.

(William Buckley was a nineteenth century convict who escaped and lived in the Tasmanian wilderness for 32 years. He died in Hobart, January 1856 and "Buckley's and Nunn" was a department store.)

The V8 supercars will be racing at Sandown Racetrack, Melbourne over the weekend. I'll keep you posted. Check out my footy and holden hero blogs.

Have a terrific weekend.

Cheers and beers,
Mark.

When I grow up I want to be an AFL umpire. Those dudes in the white lab coats, ties, and the funky hats that do that whole pointing thing when they kick the ball through the goal posts are awesome.

Just Bob's too funny. Hell, I'd just like to be able to stand up on skates.

Thank you honey for your comments on my blog. What a horrible 24 hours, but you made it better. I'm horrible with stupid stuff. You know that. It just hurts too much and absolutely breaks my heart. I keep asking myself if I deserved this? I guess I did. I don't know. I just want it to go away. But so many friend I adore where involved and I don't know how to make it go away. Life is an illusion, isn't it? And you know what's so funny, Brian left all of us a long, long time ago, but yet garnered so much attention yesterday as if he was still in our lives and mocked me to boot. I have a lot to digest. But one thing I know for certain, that know one else knows, he wrote his post in the 23rd for a very specific reason. I'm not a moron. You know that. And he knows that. Why he would do it? I have no clue. Retaliation for what? What did I ever do to him? My comment was on his blog for 16 days and he never said a thing until last night.

I love you and thanks for your support.

XO

Do you know how much I love you and your Detroit Red Wings? Tons and tons and tons. Next year you root for the Bruins! Why not? We're all family. Let's share the wealth!

Thank you so much for your support on my blog. Hi. That cracks me up! Kylie is such a comedian. Really though. Thanks. You guys made all the difference today. I felt happy after feeling terrible sad. You know what I wish? I wish we could sit in the stands and watch Rob play hockey. He's beautiful to watch. I haven't seen him play in a few years and to watch him with the two of you would be a gift because you know and appreciate hockey. He's very good and wonderful to watch. Hockey fans understand how difficult it is to skate and think at the same time! Oh, and he's really handsome too!!! I forgot to mention that! Damn!

just bob said...

Skate AND think at the same time? I can't even sit and think at the same time... and definitely not handsome either.
