Going to a Party!!

Mr. Big and I are hitting the highway again...but only going 2 hrs. south of here to the Flint area for the weekend.

Remember back in Jan. we had the granddaughter that ran away with her boyfriend, well that caused the start of some family healing for Mr. Big and his 2 daughters. The youngest daughter started conversing with her Dad and they are doing great. They had not talked in about 5 yrs. The oldest daughter has been a little slower to come around, but when he had to have the Heart Cath, she did call...then an invitation came for her oldest daughter's graduation... we went and things went great. We had not seen them in 9 years. Very emotional for him, but very good.

Now, we are going to her Graduation Party this weekend. Should be a good time. Mr. Big's younger daughter is there. We will get to see her and her three daughters that we have not seen in five years. Plus her step-son that we have never met.

I will also go spend some time with my Mom, and let Mr. Big have some alone time with the Daughters and gkids.

Trying to get things back to as normal as they can be around this busy house!!!

Have a Great Weekend!!

Lotsa love to everyone,

Gig

I'll remind you of your 52 degree weather in January when it's 52 here and -5 there!

Hey Bob,
I wish I had saved some of the snow, I would send some west!!

When we were in N.C. 2 weeks ago, it was between 95 and 100 degrees, way too hot!!
It has been pretty hot here until this week, and honey I don't have air conditioning either, so I can relate to your suffering...

I will just have to make a trip west to visit Blottie, you and R.C. during the cold winter here!!

Yes, we would have a riot, I do now how to party. I went to a conference a couple of years ago with my former boss. We had to room together and she was a royal bi*ch. So I made friends with people at the conference and stayed out till very late. Most of the big rep companies threw parties the whole week and we got as much free booze as we wanted. I'm not that much of a drinker actually, so I hit it pretty heavy the first night, then the next morning I was very sick most of the day, so I didn't hit it so heavy the rest of the week, but I did have fun, so from then on I was called a party animal at work because she came back and told on me. Like I said, she was a bitch, but it was all because Ididn't want to get cornered with her in our room and her ask me leading questions about all of my coworkers, which is something she did try to to. Well, shower time for me. I promised I would take the boys to do something fun today.

Cece,
You are too funny, I am still laughing...

Just got home, had a great time...let the 8, 9,10 yr old gkids take pics for me, what a hoot, I must have 200 pics on camera, lol. From feet to nothing at all. Once I sort and delete, I will post some.

I also took some of these crazy clouds today and tonight, it was getting ready to storm and they were wild looking. Also will try to post some of these.

Like the new you, at least we are still real people, unlike some, ha,ha.
love ya, gig

**Slams fist on bar, turns to Giggie and says "Give me a hug, damnit."** God I love you woman.

I'm so glad you had a wonderful weekend. It's nice when family issues are resolved. I wish mine were. One of my sisters got mad at me a few years ago over something SO petty, then some of my other sisters jumped on the band wagon just to hitch a ride to the BitchFestival. And I'm the greatest sister they have! No seriously, I am!!! I've never failed them in any way. Nearly broke my heart, but I'm making my peace with it. Well, not really.

I got a big old smile on my face when you mentioned visiting all of us out here. You forgot Robyn. Good Lord! Who could forget Robyn??? I can just see a road trip with you and Cece. Just stay out of my lane when the two of you get here. I'm now driving a Mercedes, and it's a tank baby! I'm not taking any more crap from anybody. I refuse to be run off the road because my insurance went through the roof and I have a mark on my liscense...what do I got to lose?

Oh, and by the way, I got laughing about your last statement. I thought you were referring to someone else and I had a terrific laugh, but realized you were just talking about Bob! God I've gotta get a grip! And why is Bob animated? He's trying to pick up young woman apparently, but when they see he isn't an animated cartoon character, what are they going to do? Stick around? "Bob, snap out of it. We older chicks love the "real" you because you give out Blotties." (Gig, did I score or what???!!! I'm thinking of having tee-shirts made and selling them on eBay.) I just realized Kylie would refer to this as "sucking up." Hummmmmmmmmmm. Yup, I think she's right because I suspect this is going to be an annual award and I'm clawing my way to the front of the line baby. Momma didn't raise no idiot.

Hi Cece,
Hi Leah,
Hi Kylie,
Hi Kookie,
Hi Robyn,
Hi Gig,
Hi IV,
Hi Bindi,
Hi Bob,
Hi RC,
Did I miss anyone?
Whoops, yup, me...
Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to mee-mee,
Happy Birthday to me!
(Thanks Cece!)

Love you all, now lets play some slops.
