Let's go racing boys!!!

Ryan Newman, driver of car #12 won The Great
American Race today. This was the 50th running
of the race. It was a great race!! It was a right down
to the wire race. 2nd place went to Kurt Busch (#2),
and 3d was Tony Stewart (#20).
My driver, Michael Waltrip was 29th. Hey, I am happy,
last year he did not get to race the Daytona. We are off
to a great start!
For more info go to http://www.nascar.com/
Hope everyone had a great day
Good thoughts to all,
Gig

Thanks Debbie,
I have enjoyed reading your posts about the race. I only hope that i can do you justice when i report the V8's! What happened to Waltrip - was he caught up in traffic or did he have some car trouble?

Mark,
I am glad you have enjoyed the posts about NASCAR. I look forward to the V8's racing and your posting about them. You will do great!! I am not sure yet why Michael dropped back, but will be listening and reading throughout the week. I will keep you posted.
Next week is Fontana, CA, then Las Vegas.

I knew you two would be here, so just popped in to say I'm not a fan as you know, but I'm happy for both of you. Isn't it funny what connects us on this contraption? As you know my sister and her hubby are HUGE fans and actually went to The Daytona 500 a few years ago. As you might imagine, they had the time of their life. If you ever have the chance to go, do because I guess it's pretty remarkable.

Love you both,
Suzanne

Hey Gig,
Thanks for stoppin by tonight. I hope you are doing well. We are suppose to be watching a movie, but it has been on pause now for the last two and a half hours. Hubby has to play play station 2 with the boys so that they will have enought points to unlock some stupid car. Oh well, at least I was able to get a post out because of it. Talk to you soon.
